All your electrical needs catered for, including new installations, periodic inspection and testing, rewiring and modifications / additions to existing installations.
From 1st January 2005 new revisions of the Building Act 1984 came into effect. The changes focused on the "electrical safety in dwellings" (Part P of the Building Regulations)
All domestic electrical installations (such as installation of a new circuit, any electrical work in the kitchen or bathroom or outside of the property, gardens, garages or outbuildings) are subject to approval by the Local Authority Building Control except in the case of electricians who work for a company that is a member of a Competent Person's scheme. *NAPIT members are included in the definition of 'competent person'.
Richfield has been assessed against the requirements of the NAPIT Rules for registration under the Competent Persons Scheme and has been registered as a NAPIT member working to all relevant IEE 16th Edition Wiring Regulations.
You can therefore be sure that all electrical work has been carried out to a high and safe standard and all notifiable domestic work is covered by an Insurance Backed Warranty (IBW).
*NAPIT was formed in 1992 as the National Association for Professional Inspectors and Testers, with the aim of setting standards for industry. Since then NAPIT's role has evolved and expanded to be one of the fastest growing Government Approved register holders for Part P Registered Domestic Electrical Installers (both full and defined scope) while continuing to serve the needs of those carrying out equipment testing and electrical installation and testing in commercial and industrial sectors.
